Privacy Policy

Effective date: May 24, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Swazzi collects, uses, shares, and protects information for Swazzi websites and apps, including Pawsee, TIMEOUT, and Seraph. This policy is written for practical product launch and store review purposes and should be reviewed by counsel before final publication.

Information we may collect

Depending on the app features you use, Swazzi apps may collect or process:

How we use information

We use information to operate accounts, provide app features, support local discovery and meetup coordination, show user and puppy profiles, deliver messaging where available, send opted-in TIMEOUT emergency contact alerts, review reports, enforce community standards, improve reliability, respond to support requests, protect users and the service, and comply with legal obligations.

Third-party providers

We use service providers only as needed to operate the apps and website. These may include Supabase or Firebase for backend services such as authentication, database, functions, and storage; Twilio for TIMEOUT emergency-contact SMS notifications; Expo/EAS for app development, build, update, and delivery services; RevenueCat for Seraph Pro purchase and subscription entitlement management; and Sentry for crash reporting only if Sentry is enabled and configured for the app. These providers process information according to their own terms and privacy practices.

Seraph photos and purchases

Seraph processes photos locally on your device. Seraph does not upload your photos to Swazzi servers. Cropped photos are saved to your device, and images leave the app only when you explicitly choose a native sharing destination. If you use Seraph Pro purchase features, Apple and RevenueCat process purchase-related information to complete purchases, restore purchases, and determine subscription entitlement status.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers, when you choose to make information visible to other users through app features, to investigate safety or abuse reports, to comply with law, or to protect Swazzi, our users, or the public.

Photos, vaccination documents, and messages

Photos, vaccination documents, messages, and conversations may contain personal information. Use discretion when uploading or sending content. We use this content to provide the requested app features, support safety and moderation, and respond to user support needs.

Location

Pawsee may request approximate or foreground location access to help users find relevant local playdate opportunities and related features. You can manage location permissions in your device settings. Some features may not work without location permission.

TIMEOUT may request location access during an active timeout or safety workflow so a designated emergency contact can receive a last-known-location link when a wellness check, timeout escalation, or emergency override alert is triggered. TIMEOUT does not use location for marketing.

SMS notifications

TIMEOUT sends transactional SMS notifications only to emergency contacts who have opted in to receive TIMEOUT alerts. Message frequency varies based on user safety workflows. Message and data rates may apply. Recipients can reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. TIMEOUT SMS alerts are not marketing, promotional, or bulk messaging.

Data retention and deletion

You may delete your Pawsee account in the app through Settings → Delete Account. When an account is deleted, we aim to delete the auth account, owner profile, puppy profile, uploaded photos, vaccination documents, and other account-linked data as described on the Delete Account page. TIMEOUT event logs and safety records may be retained when needed for account integrity, safety, security, fraud prevention, support, legal compliance, or immutable event-log behavior in the app. We may retain limited moderation, safety, security, fraud-prevention, support, or legal records when reasonably necessary.

Children

Swazzi apps are not intended for children under the minimum age required by applicable law or app store rules. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate consent, contact us so we can review and respond.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No system is perfect, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy as our apps evolve. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made.
