Apps operated by Qazi Holdings, LLC

The following consumer applications are owned and operated by Qazi Holdings, LLC under the Swazzi brand:

TIMEOUT

TIMEOUT is a non-cancelable timeout app for digital detox and conflict de-escalation. TIMEOUT uses transactional SMS messaging to notify emergency contacts that an account holder has explicitly added inside the app when the account holder misses a wellness check during a TIMEOUT session or invokes the in-app emergency override. All messages are transactional, low-volume, and triggered only by the account holder’s own activity inside the app. Recipients can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message.

Pawsee

Pawsee is a social playdate app for puppy owners. Pawsee is published on the Apple App Store and Google Play.

SERAPH

SERAPH is a golden-ratio photo cropper. SERAPH is published on the Apple App Store.

Messaging program — TIMEOUT toll-free SMS

The toll-free messaging program operated under this entity is the TIMEOUT transactional SMS program. The program is low-volume, user-triggered, and transactional. Messages are sent only in response to the account holder’s own activity inside the TIMEOUT app. Use cases currently in production:

Consent. Emergency-contact phone numbers are added only by the account holder inside the TIMEOUT app. Before adding a contact, the account holder must check an in-app consent confirmation that reads: “I confirm this person has agreed to receive safety notifications from TIMEOUT, including text messages with my location during active sessions.” Fine print directly under the confirmation reminds the account holder that they are responsible for obtaining the contact’s permission, that message and data rates may apply, and that the contact can reply STOP to opt out at any time. There is no web form, no purchased list, no third-party lead source, and no marketing solicitation.

Opt-out. Recipients can reply STOP to any TIMEOUT message at any time. STOP requests are honored at the messaging-platform level, which permanently blocks the responding number from receiving further messages from the TIMEOUT toll-free number. The account holder can also remove the contact in-app at any time, which deletes that contact’s phone number from the account and prevents any further messages to that number.

Privacy. Phone numbers used for TIMEOUT messaging are processed only to deliver the messages described above and are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. See the full Qazi Holdings, LLC Privacy Policy.

Message and data rates may apply. The TIMEOUT messaging program is not a marketing or promotional program. Typical message frequency for a single emergency contact is well under one message per month, since messages fire only when a wellness check is missed or an emergency override is invoked.

How an emergency contact is added in the TIMEOUT app

SMS messages from the TIMEOUT toll-free number are sent only after an in-app, user-attested consent step performed by the TIMEOUT account holder.

Sample message bodies

Representative SMS message bodies sent from the TIMEOUT toll-free number to an emergency contact the account holder has added. The default message body is the account holder’s editable personal status template; TIMEOUT then appends a short system status line identifying the alert type. Brackets indicate dynamic fields populated at send time.

Default account-holder status template (editable per-contact in TIMEOUT → Messages):

I’m taking a digital timeout. I am safe. My location is: [Map Link]

Missed wellness check (sent when the account holder fails to complete the in-app wellness check):

[Account Holder Name] did not complete the TIMEOUT wellness check and may need support. Last known location: [Map Link]

TIMEOUT alert: wellness check was missed.

Emergency override (sent when the account holder taps the in-app emergency override):

[Account Holder Name] used the TIMEOUT emergency override and may need immediate support. Last known location: [Map Link]

TIMEOUT alert: emergency override was used.

If the account holder has saved a custom message template for that contact, the saved template is sent in place of the default status line, with the system status line still appended.

Estimated message volume

The TIMEOUT toll-free SMS program is low-volume, user-triggered, and transactional. Estimated peak volume in the first 90 days of operation: fewer than 1,000 outbound messages per day across all users, and in normal use far fewer, because messages fire only on missed wellness checks or emergency overrides. There are no marketing campaigns, no scheduled broadcasts, and no message templates that are not directly tied to a user action inside the TIMEOUT app.
